A cheeky fan decided to come up with a hilarious offer for in-form Manchester United star Marcus Rashford after another footballing masterclass, this time in the EFL Cup.

Erik ten Hag’s men easily progressed to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup thanks to a routine 3-0 win over League One side Charlton.

It is hard to bet against Rashford not finding the net in recent weeks, as the England star was at it once again with a brace in stoppage time to add on to Antony’s first half strike.

As reported on GOAL, this was his eighth straight game at Old Trafford where Rashford has found the net, placing him in the record books alongside United legend Wayne Rooney.

At the moment, Rashford is a fan favourite, and this was evident from the Old Trafford stands, where one fan had an odd request for the forward.

It is not unusual for fans to hold up banners asking football players for their shirts at full time, but this fan in question took it to the next level.

Photos seen by Sports Brief showed the fan’s banner which had a hilarious offer for Rashford as the fan was willing to trade his own parent for the superstar’s match day shirt.

“Rashford, can I swap my mum for your shirt?” The text on the cardboard paper read.
