  • Paul Pogba has admitted his second stint at Manchester United did not go as planned
  • In six years as a Red Devil for the second time, Pogba only won two trophies with the club
  • He revealed in a recent interview that it was the right time to return to Juventus

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has stated that it is no secret his second spell with the club was underwhelming.

The Frenchman made a famous £89m move back to Manchester from Juventus just when Jose Mourinho was settling in as the new manager at the club.

He returned with a bang, initially looking like he would be worth his hefty price tag, but a couple of factors including injuries, off-pitch issues and an infamous feud with Mourinho thoroughly affected his performances.

He recently spoke with GQ Italia where he reflected on his time at United, saying it was in his heart that he ‘made the choice to come back to Juventus’.

'The last three years in Manchester, also conditioned by injuries, did not go the way I wanted, it's not a mystery."
"Juventus came from two years in which they did not win the Scudetto. It was a good challenge for both of us, and maybe it was the right time to get together and try to take back our rightful place: me and Juventus."

Despite an emotional return to Turin, Pogba is yet to play for Juventus again as he picked up a knee injury in August.

To keep his hopes of playing at the World Cup in Qatar alive, the Frenchman initially opted against surgery but eventually had an operation early in September.

He is hoping to be fit in time for Juventus’ Champions League clash against Benfica on October 25.

Cute photo of Pogba brothers surfaces online

Elsewhere, Sports Brief reported of the delightful photo of the Pogba brothers in their childhood days which surfaced on social media.

While the controversy surrounding the two brothers makes for great entertainment for the neutrals, it is quite a sad twist in the tale of the Pogba brothers.

Going further back in time, a photo of the three Pogba brothers as little boys has emerged online and it is all sorts of cute.
