Manchester United have been warned that they will not win anything with Cristiano Ronaldo still in the team.
Ronaldo has had a slow start to the new season after a confusing summer that saw his future with the Red Devils plunged into uncertainty.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has since lost his place in the first team, with Erik ten Hag preferring Marcus Rashford in the attack.
Given his limited appearance so far this season, Ronaldo has scored only once, with his solitary goal coming against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League.

Paul Merson suggests Cristiano Ronaldo should be dropped
While it remains unclear how much Ten Hag will be utilising Ronaldo after the international break, Paul Merson has suggested that Man United should drop the Portuguese talisman from the team.
According to the former Arsenal player, the Red Devils risk not winning anything this season if the former Real Madrid star is kept in the team.
"The hardest part is when you have to be critical of one of the best players who's ever played football," Merson told The Telegraph.
"Ronaldo was a 100 times better player than me, and I've got to say Man United are not going to win anything with him in the team," he added.
Meanwhile, United are currently placed fifth on the Premier League standings with 12 points after six rounds of matches.
