Ronaldo refused to applaud Manchester United fans before walking straight past Erik ten Hag

Sports Brief had reported that a fresh round of push and pull is brewing at Manchester United after their latest loss in the Premier League.

United were made to pay for their disjointed performance on Saturday evening as Brentford put four goals past them in just 35 minutes. Apart from the head coach Erik ten Hag, Cristiano Ronaldo also drew the spotlight given that reports had indicated that he wanted to leave the club this summer.

Ronaldo was making his first start of the season, but even his presence couldn't stop Brentford from running riot as United lost their first two games of the season for the first time in over 30 years. David de Gea struggles to explain why Erik ten Hag's side is struggling

At the same time, Sports Brief reported that Manchester United's shot-stopper David De Gea was at a loss as he struggled to explain why the rebuild at the club was seemingly failing.

United were on the receiving end of yet another chastening defeat in the Premier League after they were thrashed 4-0 by Brentford. This comes on the back of their opening day defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
