“The King is back”

Despite numerous reports that he is determined to walk away from Manchester United, Ronaldo has remained silent for large periods of time.

It is only recently that he started responding to scathing reports via his Instagram, where he slammed press for constantly writing about him.

On Friday, July 30, Ronaldo also hinted at making a return to Manchester United, commenting “The king is back” on Instagram.

As the new season approaches, Ronaldo also seems to be running out of options in joining a club in the Champions League.

Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have all ruled themselves out when it comes to signing Ronaldo, and the most plausible destination for him would be his childhood club Sporting Lisbon.
