Jordan Ayew and Fred of Manchester United were close to exchanging blows after tempers flared during a pre-season friendly in Australia.

The Black Stars forward, who plays for English outfit Crystal Palace, featured for the Eagles in their 3-1 defeat to Manchester United.

However, in a video posted on social media, Ayew and Fred had to be set apart by teammates as tempers boil after the Ghanaian forward's tackle on Bruno Fernandes.

The Brazilian midfielder was unhappy with Jordan Ayew's tackle on the Portuguese and in his defence of his Manchester United teammate, shoved the Crystal Palace star.
