Manchester United’s summer clearouts seem not to be over as the English Premier League club is still bent on selling off eight more first-team players.

The Red Devils have already let go of top first-team players including Pau Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Edinson Cavani and Juan Mata this summer following the expiration of their contracts.

According to Sport Bible, the Red Devils are now ready to offload the likes of Anthony Martial, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Eric Bailly, and Phil Jones as the club believes they have no future at Old Trafford.

Other players also deemed surplus to requirement by new manager, Erik ten Hag include Brandon Williams, Alex Telles, Axel Tuanzebe, and Andreas Pereira.

Erik ten Hag is hoping the sale of these players will generate more funds for Man United to sign more players before the end of the transfer window.

Barcelona and Man United still negotiating the transfer of Frankie de Jong

Meanwhile, Manchester United are still pushing to sign Frankie de Jong from Barcelona this summer as the Premier League giants are still negotiating for a deal.

According to Football Espana, the structure of the fixed price of €65 million has been agreed upon, however, there are ongoing conversations regarding the €20 million in add-ons.

De Jong moved to Barcelona from Ajax in 2019 after being a standout for the squad that advanced to the Champions League semifinal before falling to Tottenham Hotspur.

Christian Eriksen verbally agrees to join Manchester United

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United has finally hit the ground running in the transfer window after agreeing to a deal to sign Danish midfielder, Christian Eriksen this summer.

The 30-year-old has been a free agent since his 6-month deal with Brentford expired and will now join up with the Red Devils after verbally agreeing to a 3-year deal.

Eriksen must undergo extensive medical testing at Old Trafford because contracts are being created before the transaction is finalized.
