Earlier, Sports Brief reported Sergio Romero is considering a sensational return to Manchester United this summer.

The Argentine quit the Red Devils for free about a year ago after spending six seasons with them.

His departure came after falling out of favour, with David de Gea and Dean Henderson ahead of him in the pecking order at the time.

The 35-year-old is currently a free agent once again following Venezia's relegation from Serie A.
