Swedish-born attacker of Cameroonian parentage Anthony Elanga has intensified his preparation for the upcoming season.

Elanga has been putting himself through the paces as he seeks to form a key part in the plans of new Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag.

In a video posted on Twitter, seen by Sports Brief, Elanga was captured slaloming his way through training poles with the ball seemingly glued to his feet before curling an inch-perfect shot into a targeted hole straight into the net.

The 20-year-old fledgling United academy prospect broke into the first team under then-interim manager Ralf Ragnick.

He made 27 appearances across all competitions and recorded three goals in the 2021-22 season and would be hoping to improve on all fronts as the new season beckons.

He is expected to link up with fellow Manchester United first teammates when the club begins preseason on July 4.

United have lined up a list of tough preseason friendlies to test the might and readiness of Erik Ten Hag's men ahead of the forthcoming campaign.

The Red Devils will face fellow Premier League rivals Liverpool, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace on preseason tour in Asia before commencing their 2022-23 Premier League campaign with a home game against Brighton and Hove Albion.
