Gary Neville Concerned with Man United's Inactivity in The Summer Transfer Window

  • Manchester United have had a somewhat silent transfer window this summer in terms of arrivals
  • The Red Devils are yet to make any major signing as earlier projected following a frustrating campaign last season
  • Gary Neville has now conceded that he is a bit concerned with his former team's lack of transfer business

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has expressed concern with the club's inactivity in the summer transfer window.

United were projected to have a busy window that would see them make a number of signings to bolster their squad after a frustrating 2021/22 season that saw them end the campaign without a trophy.

Neville has now taken to social media to express his reservations about United's lack of transfer business.

Whereas the former defender admitted it is still too early in the window to get concerned, he noted that he is afraid his former side are lagging behind in terms of getting deals over the line.

"I know (it's) early in the window, but it’s worrying that United are struggling to get business done. The others seem set and ready, yet United can’t get moving," Neville tweeted.
"(Erik ten Hag) needs his group together asap to mould them. Bringing them in late will only make it harder for him! (Hopefully) it happens soon," he added.
