Metro UK reports United resolved to cut ties with the France international after an underwhelming second spell with them that lasted six years.

The midfielder rejoined the Manchester club back in 2016 from Juventus but failed to live up to his billing during the spell.

Paul Pogba discusses his future after Old Trafford exit

Pogba has now revealed the conditions his next club should meet before he considers joining them as he ponders his future.

According to the Frenchman, he wants to ‘feel loved’ and ‘enjoy himself’ at his next club after leaving United.

While sharing about his future with the UNINTERRUPTED YouTube channel, the 29-year-old said:

"I just want the best for me. I’m thinking, putting everything together, taking my time, and I’m just looking for the best, I want to play football, be myself always, and enjoy what I do," he said.
"I need to enjoy what I do because otherwise I cannot perform well. I don’t want to be thinking negatively. We can be losing games, trophies but you have to be happy and enjoy yourself – that’s what I’m looking for," he added.

Pogba's demands appeared to be a subtle dig aimed at Man United where it was claimed that he was unhappy and was not allowed to enjoy himself.

Juventus are believed to be strong favourites to re-sign the midfielder after the Old Trafford exit.

Chelsea interested in Man United-linked Juve star

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea could reportedly make a summer move for Juventus star, Matthijs de Ligt, to replace Antonio Rudiger.

Rudiger departed Stamford Bridge this summer on a free transfer, sealing a sensational switch to Real Madrid.

The Blues will face competition from Man United in their attempt to sign the Dutchman who has been linked with a reunion with Erik ten Hag.
