Manchester United has begun renovation work at the club’s Carrington training base following the complaints from superstar forward, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo was reportedly so dissatisfied with Manchester United's training facilities that the 37-year-old couldn't believe the state in which the club's headquarters had been allowed to deteriorate.

According to a report via The Sun, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner complained about loose, chipped, and missing tiles within the swimming pools were a safety hazard and refused to use them.

Manchester United has ordered repairs to be carried out, especially in the pools, and for it to be ready before the commencement of pre-season.

The Red Devils also earmarked £200,000 for a new boiler system to be installed, while also continuing the facelift of their base by erecting new floodlights and a 500-seater stand.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are not just rebuilding just their training ground; the Red Devils are also rebuilding their squad ahead of next season.

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United will offer manager, Erik ten Hag at least £120m to strengthen the Red Devils’ playing squad in the summer transfer window.

The Dutch manager has however, been given the task of selling off fringe players in the United squad to generate more funds for their rebuilding process.
