Tuchel, who led Chelsea to a third-place finish this term has now backed Liverpool and City to challenge for the title once more.

However, the German tactician noted that three more teams will be in the mix - including Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United.

Despite finishing in fifth place ahead of the Red Devils, Tuchel gave Arsenal no chance of gunning for the domestic title.

According to Daily Mail, the Blues boss conceded next season's Premier League title race will be more competitive.

"It will be a super tough race. Manchester United will be in the race, Tottenham will be in the race with Antonio Conte for sure, and we want to stay in the race," he noted.
"And Liverpool and Man City will do everything to even make their squads bigger. They set the standard so, so high and it will take the same to be competitive next season," he added.

Man City crowned Premier League champions

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester City have retained the Premier League title following their 3-2 comeback win over Aston Villa on the final day of the season.

Pep Guardiola's men nearly lost the title to Liverpool before they came from two goals down to secure a vital win.

Ilkay Gundogan was City's match hero as he netted a brace deep in the second half to inspire the Citizens to an epic win.
