The two clubs are embroiled in a fierce Manchester derby rivalry. It is often unthinkable, but not entirely impossible, for a player to move between the two clubs.

The Times, as quoted by Eurosport now report that Pogba thought about the transfer and chose against it. He informed City bossess that his next club will be out of the Premier League.

The French star's contract at Manchester United expires next month. There haven't been any official talks to extend the contract between the two parties. Pogba, will be one of the many players, who are expected to leave United in a massive exodus.

Top European clubs are said to be after the 29-year-old. Juventus are set to offer him a lucrative deal to rejoin them. Pogba was a Juventus player before he left to resign for Manchester United in 2015.

There have also been talks of a possible move to Real Madrid or his home country to sign up for Paris Saint Germain.

Paul Pogba's next club is yet to be decided

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Pogba appeared destined to leave Old Trafford after a six-year spell, having made a comeback to the club in 2016.

Amid his impending exit, his next club is yet to be determined, with rumors suggesting he might join French giants Paris Saint Germain or make a return to Juventus in Italy.

It was at Juventus that Pogba enjoyed his most prolific spell as a professional football player, and at some point, Allegri was his manager.
