Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, finally gave fans a glimpse of their newborn baby girl.

The power couple welcomed the latest addition to their growing family on April 18 months after they revealed they were expectant with twins.

However, one of the two babies who was a boy tragically died after birth, with the baby girl surviving.

"It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our baby boy," Ronaldo announced in a joint statement at the time.

And just days after the birth of the baby girl, Ronaldo and Georgina have finally ended the long wait by revealing the name of their newest addition.

Georgina took to her Instagram to disclose they had named the baby 'Bella Esmeralda' - which loosely translates to "beautiful" in Portuguese.

The Spanish model accompanied the revelation with three cute photos of baby Bella.

This is the first time Georgina has shown fans close up pics of the newborn daughter.

Cristiano Ronaldo now has five children together with baby Bella, with two of those birthed with Georgina.

The Mirror reports the five-time Ballon d'Or winner became a father for the first time in June 2010 to his son, Cristiano Jr.

He added twins to his family in June 2017 after the birth of daughter Eva and son Mateo who were born in the United States via surrogacy.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Cristiano Ronaldo's reaction during Man United's 4-0 demolition by Brighton did not go unnoticed by fans.

The veteran striker was part of the United side that suffered the defeat, with the Red Devils failing to score at least a consolation.

Ronaldo was caught on camera laughing sarcastically as the Red Devils trailed the Seagulls 3-0 shortly after the break.

The forward's reaction generated mixed reactions among fans, with some claiming Ronaldo was justified to 'laugh' at the state of affairs at the club.
