Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney's son, Kai, has signed a new contract with the club.

Kai followed in his dad's footsteps by signing a contract to join United's youth academy back in December 2020.

At the time, Kai was pictured holding up a Man United shirt with the No.10 on the back.

Incidentally, the No.10 jersey is the same number worn by his father during his illustrious career with the Red Devils.

The 12-year-old revealed on Instagram he had penned a new contract with the Old Trafford-based club.
