Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted he will remain at Manchester United beyond this season after he inspired the Red Devils to a 3-0 thrilling win over Brentford.

There have been claims the five-time Ballon d'Or winner could dump United this summer after spending just one season at Old Trafford in his second spell with the club.

Despite United's struggles this term, the 37-year-old has been the shining light in the team, with his impressive performances earning him praise and admiration from fans.

Cristiano Ronaldo says he is not finished yet

The Portuguese talisman has now dropped a hint he could continue playing at Man United beyond this summer.

The veteran forward was captured on camera shouting that "I’m not finished" as United stars gave a lap of honour after their victory over Brentford.

Ronaldo played a central role in the result as he netted from the spot to take his tally to 24 goals across competitions.

Bruno Fernandes and Raphael Varane were the other scorers in what was United's last home match of the season.

Ralf Rangnick speaks on Ronaldo's Old Trafford future

Meanwhile, Ronaldo's declaration came after Man United interim boss Ralf Rangnick suggested the star forward could form part of Erik ten Hag's rebuilding.

“The way we played again tonight, why should he not be part of the squad and help the team?" Rangnick posed.
“What I believe is that the club should bring in two strikers – real strikers. And Cristiano is not a central striker and he does not want to play in that position," he added.

Man City backed to win the Premier League

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Man United legend Roy Keane has backed Manchester City to win the Premier League title ahead of rivals, Liverpool.

Keane believes City have an edge over the Reds due to their quality and a 'world-class' manager in Pep Guardiola.

Only a point separates Man City at the top and second-placed Liverpool with just four games to end the season.
