Kai Rooney has scored another sumptuous goal for Manchester United's U12 against their local rivals Manchester City.

The son of legendary Manchester United forward, Wayne Rooney, was on target with a stunning left-footed finish over the weekend.

In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Kai received a through ball from his teammate and curled the ball into the top right corner.

Kai Rooney signed for Manchester United's youth side in December 2020.

The 12-year-old has been making name for himself in the Red Devils' academy as he follows in the footsteps of his father Wayne Rooney.

Kai's performance is a big boost for United who hope the youngster replicates his father's historic feat with the Old Trafford club.

Wayne Rooney remains United's all-time top scorer with an impressive 253 goals to his name.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Cristiano Ronaldo Jr and Kai Rooney both starred for Manchester United U12 as they recorded a victory over West Bromwich Albion U-12 in an Academy match on Sunday.

The two sons of legendary Manchester United players, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, were on the scoresheet for the Manchester United academy.

Ronaldo Jr. joined Manchester United's academy in January this year from Juventus academy whiles Kai Rooney signed for the Red Devils' youth side in December 2020.
