The 36-year-old joined the Old Lady from Real Madrid in 2018 in a deal of around €100 million with the hope of helping them win the Champions League.

However, they have retrogressed since then having failed to go beyond the quarterfinal stage - with their last two outings in the UEFA elite championship seeing them ousted at the round of 16.

In spite of his impressive goals scoring form, he could not stop them from losing the Serie A title to Inter Milan for the first time in 10 years.

As if that was not enough, the Old Lady are also on the verge of not qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season as they currently sit fifth on the log with one game left this term.

Reports now claim that Ronaldo is preparing for a possible departure at the end of the season, with the winger believed to have begun to move his properties away from his mansion in Turin to an unknown destination.

It now remains to be seen which club he could join, with juvefc.com reporting the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is likely to make a return to Man United or Real Madrid.

French giants Paris Saint Germain and Sporting Lisbon are the other clubs thought to be open to procure his services.

Ronaldo has scored 36 goals in all competitions for Juve this season, with 29 of these coming in the Serie A.
