Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has been given some time off by the Old Trafford club after the defender’s home was burgled while he was on duty with the Red Devils against Brentford according to report via FRANCE 24.

Maja Lindelof who is the player’s wife revealed on social media that she and their two kids had to lock themselves in a room while the raiders searched every inch of their Manchester family home.

The 27-year old Swede defender played the entire game at Brentford as Manchester United ran away with a 3-1 victory as they continue their push for a top four position in the league.

Lindelof’s wife Maja who disclosed how traumatic the event was for herself and their kids revealed that the family is now safely in Sweden and are spending time with their families.

Meanwhile The Sun reports that Manchester United have thrown their support behind Lindelof and have given the defender some time off to spend time with his family.

The swede defender is now set to miss the Red Devils weekend clash against David Moyes’ Westham when both clash on Saturday January 22 at Old Trafford as both teams continue their push to finish in the top 4.
