Interim manager Ralf Rangnick has been placed in charge of the side until the end of the season when he will take up a consultancy role at the club.

The Red Devils are currently in search for Ralf Ragnick’s replacement as they have approached a number of coaches with many touting PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino or Ajax’s Erik ten Haag as the favorites to land the job.

However, Sports Bible reports the Red Devils have now approached Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi overtaking over the Old Trafford club ahead of next season.

Former Lazio boss Inzaghi took charge at Inter in the summer following Antonio Conte’s departure from the club.

According to United Kingdom 24, Inter are aware of the interest surrounding Inzaghi and are set to offer him a new contract, which would keep him at the club until 2025.

The Italian club is also ready to double his salary at San Siro in an attempt to convince him to stay.

Manchester United Legend Rooney Disagrees With Ronaldo on Club’s Target

Earlier Sportsbrief reported Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has taken a dig at Cristiano Ronaldo’s comments saying the Old Trafford club should be aiming for a top-three position in the league.

The Derby manager who was once teammates with Ronaldo at Manchester United insists the Red Devils should aim for nothing less than to win the league title and seal the top spot in England.

Manchester United have had a patchy season with the Old Trafford club currently out of the top six positions on the premier league table and this form has seen a change in manager with Ralf Ragnick coming in to replace former manager Ole Gunner Solksjaer.

Many pundits had tipped United to be one of the contenders for the league title this season after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus last summer but the Red Devils have seen that ambition fade away very quickly with the club now struggling to seal a Champions League spot for next season.
