Spain midfielder, Rodri took issue with Scotland's gameplan after the Europeans were humbled in the Euro 2024 qualifiers on Tuesday evening.

Scott McTominay scored twice at the Hampden Park in Glasgow to send Scotland to the top of Group A, as the race to qualify for Germany next year heats up.

It was a shock result for Steve Clark's side, who surprised the three-time European winners to the delight of the home supporters.

Speaking after the game, as Eurofoot reports, Rodri blasted Scottish players for time wastage and unsportsmanlike conduct throughout the game.

"It's the way they play. It's a bit rubbish because they are always wasting time. They, how do you say? Provoke you… They always fall and for me, this is not football!"

The Manchester City star was captain for the day following Alvaro Morata's absence. It is not the first time he has complained after his national team were on the wrong side of results.

Rodri also took issue with Morocco last year after the African giants staged an upset in the World Cup round of 16, to knock La Roja out en route to their historic semi-final finish.

His rants come at a time when a huge clash against Liverpool awaits him on his Premier League return this weekend. Pep Guardiola's side will need maximum points to put the pressure on Arsenal.
