Mamadou Sakho gained a reputation as one of the best young defenders in the world during his days at Paris Saint-Germain, which earned him a move to England with Liverpool.

His reputation began to sink in England as he became exposed as an error-prone defender culpable of own goals and conceding needless penalties.

Sakho made the pass to former Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard in his famous slip against Chelsea in 2014 and also represented Crystal Palace for four years before returning to France.

Sakho expecting baby number four

As reported by ZGR, the defender married his wife, Majda Magui - a Moroccan fashion designer - in 2012 and the couple has three children together: two daughters and one son.

The France international celebrated his 33rd birthday yesterday and also announced the pregnancy of his fourth child. He uploaded pictures of his family, including his wife with a baby bump, on Twitter.

The wife and kids were clothed in jeans, trousers and tops, while the Montpellier star was dressed in a Puma tracksuit.

Osaka withdraws from Australian Open

Sports Brief also reported on four-time Grand Slam champion, Naomi Osaka withdrawing from the Australian Open in January.

Fans speculated this was due to her recent spate of injuries, but the star later confirmed it was due to expecting her first child.

Osaka made the announcement via a message on her social media accounts, with the news received by her fans with much joy.

Schweinsteiger expecting third child

Sports Brief also reported on 2014 World Cup winner, Bastian Schweinsteiger expecting his third child with wife, former tennis top seed, Ana Ivanovic.

The couple, who married in 2016 when the German was still playing for Manchester United, had two children already.

Schweinsteiger announced the pregnancy with a post on social media indicating the couple would be outnumbered soon.
