Jurgen Klopp has taken issue with Bournemouth's decision to sack Scott Parker as the club's manager.

Parker was shown the door following Bournemouth's poor results that has seen them ship in 16 goals in their last three Premier League outings.

Bournemouth have won only once since their promotion to the top-flight, with the victory coming against Aston Villa in their opening match of the campaign.

The Cherries have since been on a losing streak, with their latest defeat coming at the hands of Liverpool over the weekend when they were hammered 9-0.

Bournemouth announce Scott Parker's exit

The defeat at Anfield left Bournemouth chiefs with no choice but to sack Parker as the club's manager.

In a statement by the club on Tuesday, August 30, the Cherries confirmed they have commenced plans to find Parker's replacement.

"I would like to place on record my gratitude to Scott and his team for their efforts during their time with us," Bournemouth co-owner Maxim Demin said in a statement.

"When I heard the news today I realised how important it is in this moment to have the right owners at the football club," Klopp said as quoted by Express UK.

"Nottingham Forest are spending, Fulham is and I can't remember Bournemouth doing a lot, which is difficult for a coach. I felt for Scott," he added.
