"We want to be ready for Saturday but it will be a big fight because we cannot be at our best. It’s pretty much impossible. The only good news is that Man City are in the same situation as us!" Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com.
"Salzburg have already been playing for two weeks, a league game and a cup game. In two weeks, we should look different.
"We played the game out of full training. We had to make a lot of changes – that’s fine, I take that. But what I can say: it’s really at least average to lose a game.
"That’s why we were all animated in the last situation with the possible penalty. In the Premier League I go definitely in the stands for the things I thought and said! But that was it now for the rest of the season with complaining about that."

Man United legend names Liverpool and Man City as favourites for Premier League title

The 2022/23 campaign is scheduled to kick off on Friday, August 5, with Arsenal in line to curtain-raise the season in a mouthwatering clash against rivals Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

European clubs are actively engaged in the summer transfer window, with teams keen to strengthen ahead of the new campaign.
