Senegal star Sadio Mane has disclosed that he never liked PlayStation because he thinks the gaming device wastes precious time.

The 30-year-old who recently signed for German club Bayern Munich is one man who lives a reserved lifestyle, far from flamboyance and visible luxury.

Liverpool Offside reports that Mane is someone that eschews distractions in favour of a single-minded focus that will see him succeed in the game of football.

Despite that quite a number of footballers derive joy and relaxation by playing video games, Mane believes it is an act of time-wasting.

Speaking to WiwSport, the former Liverpool star said:

“I never liked it, I never played the PlayStation. I think it is something that’s wasting your time. I do not want to lose mine against anything in the world.
“I have never been to a party myself. It never went through my head. If I do not give everything I have to be a good player, I’ll never make it.”

Mane spotted in Bayern Munich training

Meanwhile, newly-signed Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane has commenced full-scale training with the reigning German champions.

Mane switched the Premier League for the German top-flight after spending six seasons with Liverpool in a deal worth £35.1 million.

The 2021 AFCON winner penned a lucrative three-year deal with the Bavarian giants, making him the highest-paid African footballer with a weekly wage of £250,000.
