Liverpool ace Mohammed Salah recently delighted fans after linking up with his former teammate Gini Wijnaldum in Dubai.

Salah has been taking it easy during the summer break as he briefly visited his native Egypt, but he is seemingly ready to dip back into football action as he enjoyed a last minute relaxation in the Middle East.

The Egyptian took to Twitter to share with his 16.8 million followers an interesting image of himself and Wijnaldum in Dubai with the caption “reminiscing”.

If the photo is anything to go by, the two seemed to be having a decent time as they were all smiles in what looked like a resort.

The duo spent four successful years together at Liverpool, where they won some of the most coveted pieces of silverware in world football.

Under Jurgen Klopp, the pair were integral in Liverpool’s success in winning the Premier League title, Champions League and Club World Cup.

In total, they made 182 appearances alongside each other for Liverpool.

Unfortunately, Wijnaldum took the risk to leave Anfield last summer, joining Paris Saint Germain when it looked like he would eventually become a Barcelona player.

His spell at PSG has however been underwhelming despite managing to feature 31 times in the French top flight.

In fact, latest reports indicate PSG would be open to selling the midfielder after just one season, with a Premier League return very likely for the 31-year old.

Messi in animated exchange with Ribery

Elsewhere, Sports Brief reported of Lionel Messi’s adventures in Ibiza as the Argentine maestro linked up with Frank Ribery.

The duo was filmed in Ibiza where Messi has been on vacation with his wife Antonella Rocuzzo and their three children.

Ribery and his family are also on vacation on the Spanish island. Ribery is yet to hang up his boots at 39 and is currently turning out for Salernitana in the Serie A.
