  • Mohamed Salah could be making a move away from Premier League side Liverpool after his contract at Anfield
  • The Egyptian striker is still having a year left on his deal with Liverpool and he is committed to finish his contract
  • Salah's agent Ramy Abbas is said to have held talks with Liverpool chiefs over the player's future, but there was no agreement

Mohamed Salah is reportedly ready to quit Premier League giants Liverpool days after the club's defeat against Spanish champions Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

The Egypt international played 90 minutes against Real Madrid in Paris, but he was unable to find the back of the net as he was denied by goalkeeper Courtois.

Salah has one more year left on his contract at Liverpool and those in charge of the club are preparing to offer him another deal that could make him the highest-paid player in England.

But according to the reports in the UK Sun and Mirror, Mohamed Salah would prefer to remain in the Premier League and could join Liverpool's main rivals.

Liverpool celebrates Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Women's Championship successes with open top bus parade

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Liverpool FC was not going to let the crushing disappointment of losing the UEFA Champions League final ruin a largely jovial mood in Merseyside.

Jurgen Klopp and his side celebrated this season's FA Cup and League Cup wins with an open-top bus parade through the city, less than 24 hours after the loss in Paris on Saturday night.

The Premier League runners-up, who finished one point behind champions Manchester City after a dramatic final day, have played 63 matches in total during the 2021/22 campaign, picking up just four defeats all season.

This was the first time in history that a Premier League team has played all the games in every competition that it can play in.

Both the men's and women's team buses eventually make their way to the city centre, where thousands of fans welcomed them, with Klopp seen with a beer in one hand and the Carabao Cup in the other.
