Egypt have been handed a huge boost after captain Mohamed Salah was declared fit and ready for the upcoming World Cup play-off against Senegal.
Salah picked a minor knock in Liverpool's English Premier League game against Brighton, forcing him to miss the FA Cup clash against Nottingham Forest.
Ahead of Friday's epic encounter between the AFCON finalist, Egypt's team manager Diyaa El-Sayed revealed their captain is ready for the game.
"Mohamed Salah is fit and ready for the clash,” he said as quoted by KingFut.
Egypt will be hoping to avenge the Africa Cup of Nations final defeat by beating Senegal and qualifying for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
The Pharaohs will host Senegal in the first leg in Cairo on Friday before travelling to Dakar for the second leg four days later.
