''Firefighters were called to reports of an outbuilding on fire at premises in Water Lane, Stainby at 3.20pm on January 19. The fire resulted in severe damage to 90 percent of a wooden outbuilding being used as a gym and the equipment,'' the statement reads.

Vardy's wife, Rebecca took to Instagram and uploaded a picture of her children in the firefighter vehicle after the fire was quenched and appreciated all responders, also confirming no irreplaceable damages were incurred.

According to Yorkshire Post, the 36 year old earns £140,000 per week and is the highest earners at the 2016 Premier League champions, so the damage should not move him much to repair.

Vardy trolls Wolves fans

The English striker was spotted drinking a can of Red Bull energy drink shortly before he was brought onto the fray and like it worked, he scored 10 minutes after coming on.

He made a howling gesture at the opponents fans as he raced to the corner flag to celebrate in his trademark style. He has since struggled for minutes and goals and also disturbed by injuries.
