Brendan Rodgers who is the handler of Premier League side Leicester City has made it clear that his side lacked the physicality during their defeat against Serie A giants Roma.

Leicester City on Thursday night, 5 May, suffered a 1-0 loss to Roma in the second leg of their Europa Conference League with Tammy Abraham netting the winner.

The Foxes however crashed out on 2-1 aggregate as Jose Mourinho and his wards at Roma will face Rangers in the final of the Europa Conference League.

According to the report on GOAL, Brendan Rodgers explained that his side also missed the services of Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi against Roma.

"It's been an issue for us all season. We clearly lack physicality. The courage is there for the players, but clearly, within the team, especially with Ndidi missing, we don’t have the physicality in the team.
“That has been a problem for us all season. We’ve tried man marking, we’ve tried zonal, but it’s too easy to score.''

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how AS Roma boss, Jose Mourinho was reduced to uncontrollable tears as he guided the Italian giants to the UEFA Europa Conference League finals on Thursday evening.

The self-acclaimed 'Special One' could not hide his emotions as Roma booked their tickets to the newly introduced European competition, UEFA Conference League.

In a video posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid trainer is seen pacing up and down as the game drew to its closure before eventually embracing his technical staff in an emotional scene.

A characteristic Mourinho side held on to an early goal scored by England forward Tammy Abraham to qualify for the inaugural finals of the competition at the expense of Leicester City.
