The Kaizer Chiefs defender made a triumphant return to the starting lineup last Sunday, playing an important role as the Amakhosi defeated Stellenbosch FC 3-1 in an entertaining DStv Premiership encounter at the Cape Town Stadium.

This has thrilled his coach Arthur Zwane, who said to the Daily Sun:

"Siya is a top player for me. Yes, football is a game of mistakes and unfortunately for him, he made a couple of mistakes in a category-A game against Sundowns, and after that match, he just wasn't himself."
