Speaking to the Daily Sun, Ndlanya, the former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates goal-getter, responded:

"That is absolute rubbish. There is no such thing. I just wonder who could be spreading all these lies about me. It must be someone who indeed wants to see me down and out, or even dead."

"I've never gotten sick in the past months, and why would they say I've lost weight when I am still fine. Look at me. Do I look like someone who lost weight?"

Addressing other rumours suggesting he was in dire straits financially, Ndlanya said:

"People get bored and spread nonsense. I'm a hustler like everybody. I am pushing my own businesses. Yes, like many others, business isn't that healthy due to Covid-19, but I am financially okay."

The rumours were reported in the online publication Zimoja.

Forgotten Mkhanyiseli Siwahla claims Ajax Cape Town official blocked Kaizer Chiefs move; nearly killed himself

Mkhanyisile Siwahla is approaching the end of his career at ease with how it panned out.

The former Ajax Cape Town has landed at ABC Motsepe League side Bokone FC in the North West. The 34-year-old had at one point retired during his tumultuous career, before having his mind changed by one who is close to him.

According to reports, Siwahla nearly ended his life because of fan criticism during his Ajax days, as well as an official at the club who he alleged blocked his dream move to Kaizer Chiefs in 2010 when he was in hot demand.

He added that the said official even threatened to close doors open to him throughout the country.
