That is the glowing opinion of his coach Vela Khumalo, who remains impressed with his growth. He scored a sensational goal in the Amakhosi's memorable 2-0 DStv Diski Shield victory over Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday in Soshanguve, which has been on everyone's lips since.

“Mark my words, you can write this down. Bula is going to be a top striker in the country. Yes, we have Mduduzi Shabalala who is a very special player as well as Mfundo Vilakazi. But with Bula, we have been lacking strikers in South Africa for a very long time now and I am telling you, Bula is a deadly striker, I have never seen a deadly striker like him."

Duba's goal took him to the top of the goalscorers' charts with three in the Shield. Chiefs will take on Stellenbosch FC in the final of the competition, with the latter looking to become the first team to win both the Diski Challenge and Shield.

TPLMedia reported that Duba was given a contract extension by the club in June.

Kaizer Chiefs comfortably beats Mamelodi Sundowns to qualify for DStv Diski Shield final

Kaizer Chiefs will battle it out with Stellenbosch FC for the DStv Diski Shield.

As reported by Sports Brief, the Amakhosi accounted for Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0 in the second semifinal of the day at the Giant Stadium in Tshwane. Mduduzi Shabalala opened the scoring in the 29th minute from the penalty spot after being fouled in the box by Mohlala Makola.

Wandile Duba settled the match with a sensational strike in the 74th minute after receiving a defence-splitting pass from Shabalala to beat the overwhelmed Makola and the goalkeeper.
