  • Paul Pogba has struggled with injuries since leaving Manchester United in the summer
  • He is currently recuperating ahead of a return, but that did not stop him from a ski trip
  • The Frenchman angered Juventus fans by skiing when he is meant to be in his recovery

Paul Pogba risked the wrath of Juventus fans, after he was spotted venturing up some ski slopes as the Serie A campaign gears up for resumption.

The Frenchman missed the World Cup while he was recovering from a thigh injury, coupled a knee strain that kept him out for the majority of the season so far.

He is yet to make an appearance for Juventus since making a return to Italy from Manchester United, but in terms of staying physically active, Pogba is certainly not slacking.

It is not certain whether he was actually engaging in skiing or snowboarding, but the fact that he was outside in an area known for the extreme sport left fans questioning his commitment to football.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is also annoyed with his midfielder, since hanging around the mountains always poses a risk of injury.

Pogba has since hit back by sharing a video of himself dancing on the ski slopes, per Daily Mail.

Juventus’ next fixtures

The Old Lady will be back in action on January 4 when they come up against Cremonese in Serie A. However, Pogba is not expected to play any role in that game.

He initially suffered a tear to his meniscus during the pre-season, which ruled him out until October. A thigh injury left him on the sidelines in another setback to his return to active football.

What Mbappe said about Messi reunion

Sports Brief also reported on Pogba’s international teammate, Kylian Mbappe discussing the situation with teammate at Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi.

The French striker admitted he would never get over the disappointment of losing in the final, but there was no reason why he should let it affect his game for the Parisians.

Messi is only expected back in France in early January, after an epic FIFA World Cup triumph with Argentina.
