Paul Pogba will not be available to cheer his France teammates in Qatar when they take on Argentina in the World Cup final on Sunday, December 18.

The Juventus midfielder missed the tournament after being excluded from the squad by Didier Deschamps following his injury a few weeks into his return to Italy.

According to the Daily Mirror, Pogba has reportedly been banned from attending the World Cup final by Juventus despite plans being put in place for the midfielder to fly over.

Juventus are not keen for Pogba who is yet to make an appearance for the Italian giants to go on a long-haul flight while he recovers from injury.

France who has coped well with all injured players will tackle Argentina in their second consecutive World Cup final to be played at the 89,000 Lusail Stadium on Sunday.

Macron eager for Pogba to make World Cup final

Meanwhile, France president, Emmanuel Macron wants to bring several prominent injured national team stars to the World Cup final game versus Argentina, Tribal Football reports.

Due to injuries, players like Karim Benzema, Paul Pogba, and N'Golo Kante are not currently on the Les Bleus roster after being excluded by Didier Deschamps.

Macron wants everyone involved in the championship match as France gets ready to face Lionel Messi’s led Argentina on Sunday.

Pogba reacts after France advances to the final

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Paul Pogba has broken his silence after France booked a place in the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Juventus midfielder was among several French players who failed to make the trip to Qatar, as the reigning champions embarked on a quest to defend their title.

However, despite his absence and that of other key players, Les Bleus have enjoyed an impressive run of form at the tournament.
