Paul Pogba has appeared in fresh footage on the back of undergoing a successful knee injury, which is likely to keep him out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 29-year-old France international traded Manchester United for Juventus this summer, however, he is yet to mark his competitive debut for the Bianconerri due to a knee injury.

Paul went under the knife today as he begins his steps to recovery which could possibly rule him out of action till 2023.

Following the successful knee surgery, the Juventus superstar took to social media to express his appreciation to his teeming fans for their unwavering support.

As he recovers from his injury lay-off, the Juventus midfield stalwart has been at the heart of a case of attempted extortion, according to him, carried out by some of his relatives, including his elder brother, Mathias Pogba.

Paul Pogba likely to miss World Cup after undergoing knee surgery

Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has cast doom on Paul Pogba's participation in this year's FIFA World Cup.

Pogba and Juve's technical staff changed their mind and decided to perform a knee surgery after initially rejecting the idea.

The midfielder only lasted a few days on his Juventus return before tearing his meniscus during preseason training.

Pogba admits to using the services of a witch doctor

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Paul Pogba admitted to using witchcraft in a second police interview with French investigators last month.

Mathias Pogba, Paul's elder brother, earlier opened a can of worms about his younger sibling accusing the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner of being involved in witchcraft and casting a spell on France teammate Kylian Mbappé.

But Paul strongly denies calling on a witch doctor to cast a spell on the PSG forward, rather for the sake of a humanitarian organisation which helps children in Africa.
