  • Juventus are set to return with another offer for Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino after their first offer was rejected
  • Liverpool could be tempted to listen to offers for the striker given that his contract is expiring next summer
  • Juventus are looking for Paulo Dybala's and Alvaro Morata's replacements, and they view Firmino as a perfect fit for their system

It has now emerged that Liverpool will be willing to let go of Roberto Firmino if the right offer comes in.

Liverpool had rejected Juventus' initial offer, but the Serie A giants are understood to be readying another offer.

Juventus are short on attacking options following the departures of Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata. The Sun reports that Liverpool will be ready to cash in on Firmino this summer rather than lose him for free next summer.

The 30-year-old is expected to face massive competition for his place in Jurgen Klopp's side following the arrival of Darwin Nunez. Liverpool have already lost Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich in this transfer window and it remains to be seen whether Klopp would let Firmino leave.

The Brazilian star has been an important cog in Liverpool's attack, often linking up play with the other two attackers. He has won the Premier League and the Champions League titles during his time at Anfield, among other domestic cups.

Juventus to rival Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign AS Roma's Nicolo Zaniolo

Sports Brief has also reported that Juventus are interested in Nicolo Zaniolo. Zaniolo has continued to attract interest from major clubs, with AS Roma continuing to play hardball.

Tottenham Hotspurs and Juventus are currently involved in a two-way battle to land Zaniolo, who has shone in the Serie A and Conference League for Roma.

Paulo Dybala is understood to be a key factor in Zaniolo's future. Reports indicate that Jose Mourinho's side will consider letting the 23-year-old leave following the arrival of Dybala. Juventus, meanwhile, are in the market for Dybala's replacement, who chose not to renew his contract with the Old Lady.
