Jose Mourinho got an emotional reception on his return to the San Siro when Inter Milan hosted Roma in the Italian Serie A on Saturday, April 23.
The Portuguese manager is still revered by the Inter Milan supporters despite spending only two years as manager of the Nerazzurri.
Inter fans sang and chanted Jose Mourinho’s name in the closing stages of the Serie A game as they paid homage to the manager who guided them to their first and only treble in 2010.
Jose Mourinho had guided Inter Milan to the Serie A title, Coppa Italia, and UEFA Champions League title in a historic campaign for the Nerazzurri.
The former Real Madrid coach had won just the Scudetto in his first season at the San Siro but stepped it up by winning all three major titles in his second year to become an icon with Inter.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has finally revealed the team he wants to win this season’s Scudetto after watching his Roma side get annihilated 3-1 by the Nerazzurri.
According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho tipped Inter Milan to outmuscle rivals AC Milan and Napoli for the Serie A crown.
