Black Stars goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati Zigi is back home after a busy international break which saw Ghana play Angola in a pulsating two-legged game.

The FC Saint Gallen star was spotted on the streets of Accra together with the Swiss Ambassador to Ghana, Madam Simone Giger, enjoying roasted plantain.

The Black Stars shot-stopper is set to return to Switzerland for the final part of the campaign as St Gallen eye a good finish in the league.

The photo of the goalkeeper with the ambassador has been shared multiple times on social media, with the pair now trending on social media.

Ati Zigi was outstanding for the Black Stars in the matches against Angola last Thursday and on Monday. The four-time African champions picked up four of the six available points.

The former Sochaux goalkeeper has been Ghana's number since the World Cup in Qatar.

Ati Zigi was named the best player in the Swiss league in the first half of the season and won the November Player of the Month as well.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Black Stars goalkeeper, Ati Zigi being voted the best player in the first round of the Swiss Football League.

He beat the likes of Cedric Itten of Young Boys, Servette FC's David Douline, Koro Kone of Yverdon FC, and Valon Fazlu of FC Aarau to the award.

Ati Zigi has been in sensational form this season and continues to earn individual accolades for his impressive displays for FC Saint Gallen.

The 26-year-old produced some incredible saves prior to the FIFA World Cup break, for FC St Gallen in the Swiss top flight league.
