Seventeen players including captain Andre Ayew and Inaki Williams trained with the team on Monday.

The Black Stars will host the Palancas Negras in Kumasi on Thursday for the first leg of the double header. The team will then travel to Luanda four days later for the second leg.

The four-times African champions will secure qualification if they collect all six points from the two games.

De Zerbi gives Lamptey update

The Brighton & Hove Albion right-back limped off during the game against West Ham on Saturday and had to be replaced by Joel Veltman after 16 minutes.

According to manager Roberto de Zerbi, Lamptey's injury is a minor problem and should be back before the international break.

A handful of players including captain, Andre Ayew reported to training on Monday with the rest of the team expected later this week.

Hughton had the available players go through rigorous drills as they maintain their sharpness ahead of Thursday's encounter.
