Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored two stunning goals before wrapping up a hat-trick display in Sporting Lisbon's big win against Ajax in the UEFA Youth League.

The talented winger joined the U19's on Wednesday afternoon for the game against Ajax in Portugal.

The 18-year-old displayed why he is part of the first team after scoring two screamers and a tap in as the Portuguese outfit secured a 5-1 win.

Issahaku opened the scoring in the 36th minute after taking on his marker on the right before curling home from outside the box.

He increased his tally after the break after meeting a cross from the left before crowning his performance with another golazo.

Rodrigo Ribeiro and Mateus Fernandez added to Issahaku's hat-trick in a five-star performance.

Tristan Gooijer pulled one back for the visitors with three minutes remaining.

Issahaku, who joined Sporting a year ago, is expected to make Ghana's squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers later this month.

The former Steadfast player was part of Ghana's team at the World Cup in Qatar.

Issahaku nutmegs Porto defender

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku terrorized FC Porto defenders after coming on in the second half of the Cup final for Sporting Lisbon against the Portuguese giants.

The 18-year-old, who is enjoying a decent campaign with the Primeira Liga side, produced a glimpse of quality during a one-v-one situation in the match.

Isshaku nutmegged Porto defender Joao Mario, who brought the Ghanaian down after the winger went past him with ease.

Issahaku joins Sporting CP

Ghanaian teen sensation, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has officially joined Portuguese giants Sporting CP after leaving Ghana Premier League outfit Dreams FC.

The player, who turned 18 last month, inked a five-year-deal with the Primeira Liga side as he begins his career in Europe.

The club confirmed the capture of the Ghanaian youngster on their official Twitter handle on Wednesday, April 5, 2022.
