The 22-year-old is one of the brightest youngsters in the English Championship, scoring eight goals and providing 12 assist in the last campaign.

Although he started this season late due to injury, Semenyo is also on the radar of Rangers and Crystal Palace.

However, Bournemouth sit in pole position to get the signature of the lanky forward.

Semenyo's performances earned him a place in Ghana's squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he made two appearances as the Black Stars exited the tournament in the group stage.

Manchester United thrash Bournemouth

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Manchester United eased to victory 3-0 against Bournemouth on Tuesday, strengthening their grip on a Premier League top-four place after a fourth straight league win.

A first-half goal from Brazilian World Cup star Casemiro, and second-half strikes from England internationals Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford, gave Erik ten Hag's men a ninth win in 10 games in all competitions.

United, who lost their first two Premier League games of the season, have now garnered 35 points from 17 games - level with third-placed Newcastle and five points ahead of Tottenham in fifth.

Semenyo makes Ghana debut

Bristol City forward Semenyo made his debut in Ghana's 3-0 win over Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old was introduced in the 75th minute for AS Roma youngster Felix Afena-Gyan, who got his debut goal for the Black Stars.

The London-born attacker had little time to show his full potential, but was very mobile on the pitch in the few minutes he played.
