"Kudus is the best player in the World Cup at the moment and he overly impresses with what he does. It's incredible what he can do with the ball," Boateng said on Sport1 as quoted by GHANASoccernet.

Boateng believes it is only a matter of time before Kudus moves to a top club, after building his experience in the Dutch top flight with AFC Ajax.

Kudus is already attracting interest from some of the best clubs in the world, including Premier League giants Liverpool and La Liga titans Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Boateng has not played for the Black Stars since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Ghana will play Uruguay in their final World Cup group game on Friday, with a place in the last 16 at stake.

Kudus, who also plays as a forward, has popped up on on the radar of several clubs after lighting up the World Cup with his impressive displays.

Barcelona's Sporting Director Jordi Cruyff has now revealed that the Catalan giants have been monitoring the player for some time now.
