Nigerian Fans Join Ghanaians to Support Black Stars During South Korea Clash in Qatar

Fans of the Super Eagles of Nigeria joined supporters of the Black Stars to rally behind the team during the game against South Korea on Monday.

The Black Stars defeated South Korea 3-2 at the Education City stadium to secure their first win at the tournament and enhance their chances of progressing to the next stage.

Before the game, a number of Nigeria fans joined some Ghanaian supporters to show love to the team.

In photos shared on social media, the fans of the two countries had their flags wrapped around them as they thronged to the match venue in Al Rayyan.

Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus gave Ghana a first half lead, but South Korea fought back in the second half through Cho Gue-Sung, who netted a brace.

However, Ghana had the last laugh after Kudus slotted home in the 68th minute to ensure the Black Stars picked all three points.

The four-time African champions will face Uruguay on Friday in their final group game and a win will see Ghana through to the knockout stages.

Ghanaian fans beg Jordan Ayew for forgiveness

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian football fans have taken to social media to beg Jordan Ayew for forgiveness after his dazzling display against South Korea on Monday at the World Cup in Qatar.

The Crystal Palace star produced a brace of assist as Ghana defeated South Korea 3-2 in a thrilling encounter at the Education City stadium in Al Rayyan.

Ayew was massively criticized by fans after the game against Portugal last Thursday. A game Ghana lost 3-2 following the introduction of the forward.

Southampton hail Mohammed Salisu

Southampton have reacted to the performance of Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu after netting his first World Cup goal as the Black Stars defeated South Korea.

The Southampton centre-back opened the scoring as the West African nation secured a 3-2 victory in a thrilling contest at the Education City stadium in Al Rayyan.

A brace from Mohammed Kudus and a double from South Korea's Cho Gue-Sung ensured the Black Stars climbed to second spot in Group H.
