  • Legendary Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari has finally met Moses Armah Parker after eight years of looking for him
  • The former Portsmouth player was banished from 2014 World Cup camp after a fight with the then Black Stars management member
  • Sulley Muntari then returned to Ghana to play for giants Accra Hearts of Oak, a club at which he spent six months

Sulley Muntari seems to have smoked the peace pipe with former management member of the Black Stars, Moses Armah Parker.

The two were involved in a feisty scuffle during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, leading to the sacking of Muntari from camp after the Germany game.

The former Inter Milan and AC Milan player admitted being remorseful in a recent interview and said he had been looking for an opportunity to apologise to the Medeama SC boss.

Muntari did not make the team due to his inactivity, having not played for the Black Stars since the unfortunate incident in Brazil.

The 2010 UEFA Champions League winner is yet to hang up his boots though, after an illustrious career spanning close to two decades.

Sulley Muntari apologises to Parker

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Muntari has solemnly apologised to former Black Stars management team member Parker, eight years after the World Cup brawl.

The former Inter Milan player was sacked from the camp at the World Cup in Brazil over disciplinary issues.

The ex-Hearts of Oak midfielder revealed he felt remorseful after the incident and has since been looking for Parker to beg for his forgiveness.

Muntari on Manchester United trial

Muntari has also opened up on his brief time at Manchester United, during the early days of his playing career.

The former Ghana midfielder travelled to England for trials at Old Trafford, but failed to secure a deal because he had no international experience.

Despite his lack of international appearances at senior level, United made him join feeder club Royal Antwerp in Belgium.
