Ghana coach Otto Addo has reiterated that there could be changes to his team before the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar in November.

The Black Stars trainer has named a 29-man squad for the international friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua this week.

And ahead of the match against the Samba Boys, Otto Addo revealed that some of the uninvited players might make a return to his team ahead of the Mundial.

“The major players are here. The door is still opened. Nothing is written in stone," he said in a pre-match presser before Friday's game.

"I don't know if I will change the team before the World Cup because it's the performance which decides," he added.
"I think the major players are here and anything can happen."

The Black Stars will engage the five times World Cup winners in La Havre before facing Nicaragua three days later in Spain.

Ghana captain Andre Ayew welcomes new Black Stars players

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that captain of the Black Stars, Andre Ayew, has urged new members of the team to be ready to die for the country ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Coach Otto Addo has named players who recently switched nationalities in his squad for the friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua. Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer and Stephan Ambrosius have all reported for the Brazil game.

And before the players make their debut on Friday, the 32-year-old took the opportunity to welcome them to the Black Stars team.

Daniel Amartey and Mohammed Salisu join Black Stars team ahead of Brazil friendly

Ghana coach Otto Addo has his full squad for the international friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua this week following the arrivals of Daniel Amartey and Mohammed Salisu.

The English Premier League duo touched down in France on Tuesday and immediately joined the rest of their teammates for training.

Leicester's Daniel Amartey and Southampton's Mohammed Salisu are expected to start in the friendly against Brazil in Le Havre on Friday.
