Teen sensation, Felix Afena-Gyan, has made his debut for Serie A club US Cremonese after coming off the bench to feature in the game against Atalanta.

The 19-year-old, who joined Cremonese from AS Roma in the summer transfer window, came on for Emmanuel Okereke in the 68th minute of the 1-1 draw at the Gewiss Park.

Afena-Gyan impressed as Emanuele Valeri's 78th-minute strike earned the visitors a point on the road.

Merih Demiral had opened the scoring for Atalanta in the 72nd minute, but the early season strugglers fought back to rescue a point.

Felix Afena-Gyan will be hoping for more game time as the 2022 FIFA World Cup fast approaches.

He joined the Italian topflight newcomers on a long-term contract after leaving giants AS Roma in the summer transfer window.

Afena-Gyan has been named in coach Otto Addo's 29-man squad for the international friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.

Ghana forward Felix Afena-Gyan completes move to US Cremonese

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Black Stars forward Felix Afena-Gyan has completed his move to Serie A newcomers US Cremonese on a permanent deal.

The 19-year-old joins Cremonese from Italian giants AS Roma.

US Cromonese confirmed the move on Monday after completing paper work with the player and his former club AS Roma.
