Gideon Mensah has been spotted sharing money to the physically-challenged on the streets of Accra.

The Black Stars left-back known for his benevolent act spotted the beggars along the road in the capital and had to stop to share money to them.

In a video posted on social media, spotted by Sports Brief, the Ghana defender is seen putting smiles on the faces of the beggars.

Gideon Mensah is currently in Ghana for the holidays after a long season in Europe as well as with the Black Stars.

The former WAFA player played a pivotal role as Ghana qualified for the World Cup and was instrumental in the AFCON qualifiers.

He failed to travel with the team to Japan for the Kirin Cup tournament as he was reported to be back to sought out his future with Red Bull Salzburg.

Mensah spent last season on loan at French outfit Girondins Bordeaux.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Gideon Mensah has been building a strong relationship with fans of French Ligue 1 side Girondins Bordeaux after spending time with the supporters after training.

The Ghana left-back signed autographs and took photos with some of the fans as he continues to form a strong bond with the club.

In photos posted on Twitter, the Black Stars player is seen sharing the moment with fans at the Nouveau Stade De Bordeaux.

Black Stars defender Gideon Mensah played a crucial role in Bordeaux's triumph in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.

The 23-year-old assisted a goal as Bordeaux secured a 3-1 victory over Metz to boost their survival in the French top-flight.

The Ghana international started the game off the bench as he helped his side seal all the three points to move to 19th on the table.
