Ghana international Jonathan Mensah is back in action after an injury scare on international duty earlier this month.
The 31-year-old played the entire duration as his Columbus Crew side battled to draw 0-0 at Real Salt Lake in the Major League Soccer on Saturday.
Mensah returned to training in midweek after being declared fit and managed to convince the coaching staff of his availability.
Jonathan Mensah was involved in a horrific injury during the game between Ghana and the Central African Republic in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Angola on June 5.

He was rushed to a private hospital in Angola where the game took place and was discharged on the following day.
Mensah missed the trip to Japan for the Kirin tournament where Ghana placed third.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Mensah made the wish of a young Columbus Crew fan come true after granting his request of having his jersey.
The Columbus Crew captain spotted the young fan with a placard asking for his jersey after the match against Toronto FC.
And in a video posted on Twitter, Mensah went all the way to the fan to gift him his jersey, leaving the boy with smiles.

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported that Jonathan Mensah is responding to treatment and he is in stable condition, according to the Ghana Football Association.
The defender was involved in a horrific injury during the game between Ghana and the Central African Republic in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Angola on Sunday.
In a statement released by the GFA on their official website, the defender is in good condition after suffering concussion.
